5 Smart Ways to Motivate Yourself

November 21, 2018

In today’s competitive world keeping yourself motivated and focused can be a bit difficult. Everybody’s path often leads to the same destination; every individual likes to choose their own direction of doing things. Life has a way of separating you from goals, but to be driven and fight back is something you will learn within yourself and find it more enjoyable than doing something to please others.

The above picture sets a beautiful example of a self-motivated man who jumps towards the ‘POSSIBLE’ mountain. The scenario helps you believe that the man is most content and has achieved personal fulfilment. The only question you need to ask yourself is ‘Are you self-motivated to achieve standards set by someone else or your own self-satisfaction’?

5 Smart Ways To Stay Motivated Everday

  1. Just get started: You don’t have to wait for someone to push you to become self-motivated. If you want to look at life in a different more exciting way ‘ACT’ now and just don’t look behind. The best way to keep you going is start from basics eat healthy, take out some time for yourself, meditate and listen to your favourite playlist. Eventually, you will feel much happier and the confidence will just go skyrocket.
  2. Get motivation from your people in life: Many times you tend to compare your life with others and keep connections with the one who brings negativity with them, who just hates everything about life. Rather than leaving their side motivate them and build their enthusiasm by doing group activities or introduce them to communities who helps bring positivity within yo
  3. Let failures come your way: While achieving personal or professional growth there will be many ups and downs, which I call the ultimate path of our journey. When you stumble just ask yourself: what did I learn from this outcome and secondly what actions I am going to take to make it right.
  4. Be Grateful for what you got: Many times we tend to neglect things which we should be grateful for, a simple thank you or a smile makes a great difference in one’s life. Replace complaints with gratitude for example; I wish my car were nicer, I wish I had lot of money and a big house instead be happy of things which you already have and work hard towards achieving your goals.
  5. Reward yourself and celebrate your success: Take out time for yourself everyday and make it a ritual by rewarding yourself for the goals you have achieved in the entire day and enjoy the experience of joy and success in life.
Below are the 5 things I personally like to do:
    • 30 mins of yoga
    • watch my favourite Netflix shows
    • cooking new delicacies
    • book for a spa day
    • spend quality time with loved ones

So, here’s the next step....

Now, you may think to yourself we all have tried that but what’s the easiest way to put this into practice is to believe in yourself which will bring a REAL change in self-motivation.
